This Privacy Policy explains how Level Up AI collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and application.

Level Up AI is operated by Remy Christophe Tuyishime Hirwa, an individual trading as "Level Up AI", based in Cameroon. References to "we," "us," or "our" throughout this Privacy Policy refer to Remy Christophe Tuyishime Hirwa as the operator of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and password (stored securely as a hashed value, never in plain text).

Course generation content: the topics you describe and any PDF/PPTX documents you upload to generate a course. This content is sent to our AI providers (see Section 3) to generate your course, and is stored on our servers so you can revisit your course history.

Payment information: we do not collect or store your card details directly. All payment processing is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Paddle's own privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled.

Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security, debugging, and improving the Service.

Feedback: if you submit feedback through the app, we store your rating, message, and (if you're logged in) your account email and name to follow up if needed.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Third-Party Services We Use

To generate your courses, we send your submitted topic or document content to the following third-party AI providers for processing:

These providers process your content solely to return a generated result to us and are bound by their own data processing terms. We do not sell your data to these providers or any other third party.

Payment processing: Paddle.com Market Limited processes all payments and may collect billing information directly from you during checkout, governed by Paddle's own privacy policy.

Hosting: our application and your generated course data (including audio files) are stored on our hosting infrastructure (Render) and database provider (MongoDB Atlas).

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and course data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a course, its associated data (including generated audio files) is removed from our systems. You may request full account deletion by contacting us (Section 8).

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage and secure connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 8.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.

8. Contact
